The Minnesota Twins scored early and often on Tuesday night against the Tigers Matt Boyd, and routed Detroit 8-1 at Comerica Park. Jorge Polanco had three hits, including a home run, and knocked in four runs for the Twins. Miguel Cabrera had an RBI single for the Tigers, who managed just six hits in the game, all singles. The Tigers are six games behind Cleveland in the division, and two behind Baltimore for the Wild Card, with 18 games left in the season. Game three of a four game series with Minnesota is set for Wednesday night.
