After jumping out to a 21-7 lead, the Detroit Lions needed a late field goal to beat Philadelphia 24-23 at Ford Field on Sunday.  The Eagles had a chance to win the game with a first down, but with 2:00 to play on a third and two, Darius Slay forced a fumble that set up the winning field goal for the Lions with 1:30 left.  Slay then intercepted a pass with just over a minute to play, sealing the victory.  The turnovers were the first two this season by the Eagles.  Theo Riddick caught two touchdown passes from Matthew Stafford for the Lions, who host the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday in Detroit.
