Michigan Destroys Rutgers

The Michigan Wolverines rolled up 600 yards of offense, including 481 yards rushing, in a 78-0 blow out win over Rutgers on Saturday night in New Jersey.  The 4th ranked Wolverines allowed just 39 yards all game to the Scarlet Knights.  Nine of Michigan’s eleven touchdowns came rushing the ball.  Chris Evans had 153 yards on 11 carries, Karan Higdon had 114 yards on 13 carries, with 2 touchdowns, Ty Isaac added 93 yards on 12 carries, and 2 touchdowns, and Jabrill Peppers added 74 yards on just 3 carries, with 2 touchdowns.  Khalid Hill rushed for two more scores, and caught an 11 yard touchdown pass.  Michigan (6-0) is off next week and returns to action on October 22 against Illinois.
