The first place Danville Dashers won their sixth straight on Wednesday, beating the Port Huron Prowlers in overtime 3-2 in Illinois. Darius Cole scored his second goal of the game at 3:56 of OT, giving the Dashers their third win in four games over the Prowlers this season. Matt Robertson and Austin Daae scored for Port Huron. Robertson also had an assist, while Daae extended his point streak to seven games. The teams rematch on New Years Eve in Port Huron.
