
We all remember that dress that seemed to tear this nation about. That was about 2 years ago. Since then, numerous optical illusion photos have appeared online that had people question everything and anything. Here is the latest one.
Below is a picture of strawberries on a plate. At first glance, you see that a hint of blue is also within the picture. Then you’ll notice the strawberries sort of look red, but then, they don’t. That’s because the strawberries are not really red. All red pixels have been stripped from the picture, and instead, the pixels are grayish, with a little bit of green.
It’s pretty simple as to why you see them as red, even though no red pixels exist in the photo. Your brain! Our brains pretty much want to correct the world when we see something that isn’t how we know it. We know the strawberries as red, so to see them as something else, our brains don’t really like it and correct it (for the most part).
Will this be bigger than the dress? Not sure, but I am hungry now after staring at this picture.
