Ian Kinsler and James McCann each had three hits on Thursday night, as the Tigers opened a four game series against the Angels with a 7-1 win. Justin Upton hit a three run home run and Andrew Romine added a two run home run to pace the Detroit attack. Michael Fulmer went seven innings and allow just one run on three hits, while striking out seven. Game two of the series is Friday night in California.
