An early three run lead disappeared on Thursday, as the Tigers lost 11-4 to the Angels at Comerica Park. Detroit had leads off 3-0 and 4-1 early, but the Angels scored four runs in the fifth and six more in the seventh to pull away, and give them two wins in a three game series in Detroit. Nicholas Castellanos had three hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs for the Tigers in the loss. Detroit will open a three game series in Boston on Friday night.
