Justin Upton had three hits, including two doubles, and knocked in two runs, leading the Tigers to a 5-3 win over San Francisco on Tuesday afternoon. Upton’s RBI’s came in the 7th inning, breaking a 3-3 tie and getting Michael Fulmer the win. Fulmer pitched eight innings and allowed five hits. Victor Martinez added two hits, a home run, and two RBI for the Tigers as well. Game two of a three game series is Wednesday night in Detroit.
