Kansas City scored eleven runs in the late innings to beat the Tigers 13-2 on Wednesday night. The game was tied 2-2 going into the seventh, when the Royals scored four times, before adding seven more runs in the eighth inning. Ian Kinsler hit a home run for the Tigers, who open a three game series in Toronto on Friday.
