Brian Lewerke and LJ Scott each scored a pair of touchdowns for Michigan State on Saturday, as the Spartans beat Western Michigan 28-14 in East Lansing. Lewerke scored on runs of 61 and one yard, while Scott caught a TD pass and rushed for his other score in the game. Michigan State has a bye week coming up, before hosting Notre Dame on September 23.
