An investigation by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department results in one being arrested and charged with several counts of child pornography and child abuse. 27 year old Nicholas Michael Belkiewicz of Port Huron Township was arraigned February 4th and is charged with three counts of child sexually abusive activity, one count of using computers to commit a crime and one count of possession of child sexually abusive material. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, deputes were called to investigate a report of pornographic materials by an acquaintance of Belkiewicz, finding hundreds of child pornographic images and videos in his possession. He is being held in the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center on a one-million dollar bond.
