Four injured in M-25 crash

A crash on M-25 near Lexington injured four on Friday afternoon. Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the accident at Lakeshore and Galbraith Line Roads around 12:30 Friday. A car driven by a 54-year old Burtchville woman was traveling north on M-25 and made a left turn into the path of a southbound vehicle. The southbound car was occupied by a Lexington man and his two passengers, all three were treated for injuries and released on the scene. The driver of the northbound car, Linda Forrest, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The accident is still under investigation and the at ­fault driver will be issued a citation for the collision. Alcohol and speed were not factors in the accident.
