Authorities shut down Port Huron Township meth lab

A suspected methamphetamine operation in Port Huron Township was seized by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force Tuesday morning. The Sheriff’s office says the meth lab was located in a house in the 2700 block  of Minnie Street. Meth lab components and drug paraphernalia were located in the house, and were confiscated and disposed of by the drug task force. Two Port Huron men, a 32 and 34 year old were arrested. They are charged with maintaining an operating a drug house and operating a meth lab. The suspects are currently being lodged at the St. Clair County Jail.
