A car with mechanical troubles damaged a vacant Port Huron house Tuesday afternoon. Port Huron Police tell WPHM the car was heading east-bound on Grant Place when it crossed Military street and struck a garage at a residence in the 3200 block of Military Street shortly before 2pm. The female driver of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Investigations into the accident are underway.
