Spotify has partnered up with Ancestry.com to offer playlists based on information provided by your DNA. The music app will put together a custom list of songs and artists linked to your specific heritage. So say you’re Irish and German with a splash of Native America? Your playlist could contain the likes of U2, Rammstein, and A Tribe Called Red. Could make for some interesting road trip music!
As cool as this sounds, Spin warns that handing over access to the information provided by your DNA isn’t something to be done lightly. You can read more about that here.
