Beginning in 2019, a new tenant will occupy part of the Marysville City Hall building. In a rental agreement approved last month by Marysville City Council, the St. Clair County Regional Education Service Agency will use the top floor of the for the early childhood programs. R.E.S.A. superintendent Kevin Miller, speaking to WPHM’s Paul Miller yesterday, say the top floor was formerly used by Marysville Public Schools before the completion of the district’s new high school. Miller also says the county-wide agency is no stranger to the 1111 Delaware avenue address. R.E.S.A., originally the St. Clair County Intermediate School District, called the office building home in the 1960s. Miller says R.E.S.A. will trade Information Technology services to the City of Marysville in exchange for the second floor lease. The lease will run through October of 2019, at which time the new Marysville City Hall is expected to completed and the entire current city hall will be vacated by the city.
