A half-dozen Port Huron businesses have been cited for selling alcohol to minors during a recent crackdown by the Port Huron Police Department. This past Thursday, the P.H.P.D.’s Criminal Investigative Division conducted a sting operation in which under age decoys were sent to 33 establishments licensed by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. Six of those establishments were cited for serving minors, including: The Rite Aid on Pine Grove, The Eggairy on Pine Grove, Lynch’s Irish Tavern, Speedy Q on 10th Street, the 20th Street Grocery Store, and Ted’s Coney Island on 24th Street. The Port Huron Police Department is reminding those who serve alcohol to continue to check identification to prevent underage drinking.
