A Port Huron manufacturer will be expanding, creating approximately 40 new jobs in the local area. Announced yesterday, P.J. Wallbank Springs will invest about $2.4 million dollars in their operations in the Port Huron Industrial park. The company designs and manufactures products for the automotive industry, including spring sets for automatic transmissions. Wallbank Springs was the recipient of a Michigan Business Development Grant for about $200,000 dollars to help assist with the expansion. A career fair to help fill those 40 new positions will be held March 23rd from 8am to 1pm at their Beard Street headquarters.
