A child from St. Clair County’s Berlin Township has been returned home after running away this past weekend. St. Clair County Sheriff’s Deputies say 14 year old Laura Oliver was reported missing early Saturday afternoon while visiting a relative’s house in Kimball Township. Deputies suspect the teenager left the residence with a 21 year old man from Detroit. Surveillance was set up outside the suspect’s west side Detroit house and Oliver was spotted at the home. Authorities were able to make contact with her and returned her to her family in Berlin Township on Monday. The 21 year old man, who’s name has not been released and is expected to face multiple charges including possible criminal sexual conduct. Local authorities were assisted by investigators with U.S. Homeland Security, as well as Almont, Detroit, and Redford Township Police.
