Michigan gas prices rose about seven cents over the past week according to the latest gas price brief by Triple-A of Michigan. The auto club reports the current statewide average daily gas price is $2.70 a gallon, which is 7 cents more than a week ago and 18 cents less than a month ago. The most expensive gasoline in the state can be found in Marquette and Ann Arbor, while the least expensive fuel is in Jackson and Traverse City. Locally, Port Huron Area Pumps are at a current average price of $2.57 a gallon.
