Several were injured in a two vehicle crash in Sanilac County’s Fremont Township yesterday. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s department, it happened just before noon at the intersection of Todd Road and Galbraith Line Road. A vehicle operated by a 53 year old Caro man was traveling south on Todd and stopped at the intersection with Galbraith, believing the intersection was a four way stop. Deputies say the vehicle then pulled out in front of another car operated by a 18 year old Melvin man, which was traveling west on Galbraith Line. The southbound vehicle was struck by the westbound car, injuring both drivers and a female passenger in each vehicles. One was taken to a Port Huron hospital for further treatment and the rest of the occupants were treated at the scene. The name of the Caro man is being withheld pending the completion of the investigation. All occupants reported wearing their seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
