Port Huron man arrested in drug raid

A Port Huron man was arrested last week in connection to a drug bust in which crack cocaine with an estimated value of 1000 dollars was found. According to the St. Clair County Drug Task Force, the bust occurred last Tuesday in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street in the City of Port Huron. DTF members were investigating cocaine sales in the local area and had obtained a search warrant for the house in question. Once inside, authorities discovered the cocaine as well as drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of cash. A 36 year old Port Huron man, identified as Jermalle Heard of Port Huron, was taken into custody. He was arraigned Friday on charges of delivery and manufacturing of cocaine and maintaining a drug house. He is currently being housed in the St. Clair County Jail on $50,000 dollars bond.
