The City of Port Huron is the recipient of up to $100,000 of grants to help prep the city’s industrial park for further development. According to the Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County, the grants from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation will be used to help clear land recently acquired by the city in their industrial park. That includes a recently acquired parcel along Dove Road west of 24th Street. The EDA says the grant will help the community prepare for anticipated growth and compete for potential new projects.
