Today is the 18th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks and a special ceremony will take place this morning to remember all who died in the tragic events that took place in 2001. At 9am today, members of the Port Huron Police and Fire Departments, as well as other area first responders and elected officials, will gather at the International Flag Plaza beneath the Blue Water Bridge. The public is welcome to attend. In the event of inclement weather, the 9-11 memorial will take place at the Port Huron municipal office center.
