Teen could face charges after Cros-Lex threat

Authorities in Sanilac County have identified a suspect in connection to a bomb threat found at Croswell-Lexington High School yesterday morning. According to the Croswell Police Department, the suspect is believed to be a 14 year old female student at Cros-Lex. She is believed to have written a threat which was found shortly after classes began at the high school yesterday morning. Croswell Lexington High School was evacuated yesterday morning while a K-9 unit searched the building for explosives. No such items were found and students and staff were given the all clear. Charges against the 14 year old student will be forwarded to the Sanilac County Prosecutor’s office.
