Guns seized, four arrested in weekend incident

A call from a concerned citizen over the weekend lead to the arrest of four individuals on a multitude of charges. According to the Port Huron Police Department, an individual called authorities to report a suspected drunk driver Saturday morning at a fast food restaurant in the 2800 block of Pine Grove Avenue. Police responded and located the suspect, a 26 year old Port Huron woman who was driving a black SUV with three passengers in the vehicle. One of the passengers, a 22 year old woman from Detroit, was arrested for having an outstanding warrant. Two other passengers, both 26 year old males from Port Huron, were found to be armed with handguns and will face felon in possession charges. All four were taken into custody and are currently lodged at the St. Clair County Jail. Police thank the help of a concerned citizen for calling in the suspicious activity and helping to make Port Huron a safer city.
