No. 14 Michigan State beat No. 12 Michigan 87-69 on Sunday in East Lansing in college basketball action. The Spartans have won seven in a row and remain the only unbeaten team in Big Ten play at (4-0). Cassius Winston had a career high 32 points with nine assists for the Spartans, while Xavier Tillman added 20 points and 11 rebounds. Michigan was led by Jon Teske, who had 15 points, and Zavier Simpson, who scored 14 with eight assists. The teams play again in Ann Arbor on February 8. Up next for State is a home game on Thursday against Minnesota, while the Wolverines will host Purdue on Thursday.
