A man from St. Clair County’s Casco Township is recovering from injuries sustained in a crash yesterday morning. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office says the 38 year old was driving a pickup truck southbound on 32nd Street at the intersection with the I-69 business loop in Port Huron Township. Authorities say he was struck by a car that allegedly ran a red light and was traveling eastbound on the business loop. The car was driven by a 23 year old man from Camlachie, Ontario and had three passengers. The Casco Township man was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The driver from Camlachie and all passengers refused treatment at the scene of the crash. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s office was assisted by crews from Port Huron Township Fire and Rescue and Tri-Hospital EMS. Authorities say the incident remains under investigation.
