Federal border authorities say they’ve been getting calls from worried health care workers who are hearing that the border to Canada is closed. U.S. Customs and Border Protection says those rumors are false and that the border with Canada remains open to essential travel only. Medical healthcare professionals are considered to be in the essential travel category, as well as military and international trade.
