Current stats indicate more recoveries than active COVID-19 cases

The Blue Water Area COVID-19 count eked upwards Thursday. The latest data available from state and local authorities suggests a slowing of the spread in St. Clair and Sanilac County. There are now 246 positive cases in St. Clair County, with 145 of those individuals believed to have recovered. There is now a larger percentage of St. Clair County residents who have recovered from COVID-19 than those who currently have it. Most cases in St. Clair County are concentrated in the immediate Port Huron area and in the downriver area of the county. Sanilac County now has 25 cases, Lapeer County has 131 people who have tested positive.
