Cause of death determined in Gray Fox homicide

Authorities have determined a cause of death for a middle aged male who’s body was found on the Gray Fox Naval Sea Cadet Ship Tuesday in Port Huron. The Port Huron Police Department says the unknown man’s death was trauma related and has been ruled a homicide. An autopsy was performed by the St. Clair County Medical Examiner Thursday.  Investigators are still working to determine the victim’s identity. Investigators are working to determine what caused the death of a middle aged male who’s body was discovered in Port Huron Tuesday. According to the Port Huron Police Department, the victim’s identity was still unknown as of Wednesday morning. The body was discovered around 11am Tuesday at the Grayfox Naval Sea Cadet Ship along the St. Clair River. Police say they are following up on tips received from the community and that an autopsy will be conducted this week. The Port Huron Police Department is being assisted by investigators from the Michigan State Police, St. Clair County Sheriff’s office, and the St. Clair County Medical Examiner’s office.

The Port Huron Police department is investigating a suspicious death following the discovery of a body at the site of the Grayfox Naval Sea Cadet ship. Shortly after 11am yesterday, police were called to the vessel, docked along the St. Clair River near the foot of Griswold Street, on reports of a body. Police tell WPHM that the investigation is being treated as a homicide. Authorities are working to determine the victim’s identity and no further details have been provided.
